FAQ

The kayak bike and brew tours are four hours long and accommodate up to 24 guests.
The distillery tours are three hours long and accommodate 15 guests.

All tours begin and end at Kayak Bike & Brew. We are located in the lower level of the BRIGHT GREEN Kayak Bike & Brew building at 436 West Front Street. Guests can enter in one of two ways:
  1. Enter through Clean Crumbles on the main floor and head downstairs.
  2. Head to the north end of the building on Gills Street, walk down the ramp, and enter the lower level for check-in.

Our guides go above and beyond to ensure your adventure is safe, seamless, and high-energy. While tipping is entirely at your discretion, it is a wonderful way to show appreciation for the effort that goes into your four-hour experience.

  • Standard Guidelines: A gratuity of $10 per person (approximately 15%) is a common industry standard for a four hour tour.

  • Payment Methods: For your convenience, all of our guides accept Venmo in addition to cash.

  • Large Groups (15+): For groups of 15 or more guests, a 15% gratuity will be automatically applied to the credit card on file. This ensures our team is fairly compensated for the additional coordination required for large parties.

Our tours are family-friendly, but please note that our stops feature adult-oriented atmospheres, including adult language and beverages. Parental discretion is advised.

For safety reasons:

– Children must be able to ride a bike independently
– Wearable babies are not permitted
– We do not provide tag-along bike trailers for small children

We use Firmstrong Urban Single Speed Beach Cruisers, Giant Simple Beach Cruisers and SUN Revolution Beach Cruisers.
Jackson Riviera and Riveria-Tandems. Singles are 300# capacity, Tandems are 450#.

No, the cost of food and beverages is not included in your tour ticket.

In compliance with Michigan State Law, we are prohibited from providing or pre-purchasing alcoholic beverages for our guests from the establishments we visit. You will be responsible for purchasing your own drinks and snacks at each stop along the route.

This allows you the flexibility to choose exactly what you’d like to enjoy at every brewery—whether it’s a local craft pint, a flight, or a non-alcoholic option!

Its the same owners and a lot of the same guides. However, this is a different brand and slightly different concept. Its kind like apples and oranges, they are both fruits but completely different.
